Close your eyes and imagine a quiet beach bathed in the rays of the autumn sun. In the background, you can hear the sound of waves gently caressing the shore. The scent of humid air intertwined with a hint of pine forest floats around you. The sea breeze blows against your faces, and you can feel particles of salt on your tongues. This is the perfect moment to breathe – deep, cleansing, full.

In autumn, Gdańsk reveals its reflective side – a city that is vibrant in summer and attracts crowds of tourists, becomes calmer, more intimate in October, but its charm is still alive. Warm, golden light penetrates the old, historic streets, and the sound of the wind mixes with the sound of rustling leaves.

September brings subtle changes in the air - the mornings become cooler and the evenings take on a new depth, as if the world is preparing to change. At this time, when most tourists return to their daily duties, nature is waiting for those who want to experience it in its most beautiful form - in the autumn glow.

Beach time in the Tri-City is a real pleasure – the clean, sandy coast and gentle waves of the Baltic Sea create ideal conditions for relaxation. From morning walks along the shore, jogging, beach volleyball, through water sports, sup and relaxing afternoons with the sounds of nature, to evening events on the beach – you will find here a lot, or maybe even everything, you need to spend an unforgettable holiday.

This year's summer spoils us with high temperatures, and Gdańsk - as a real paradise for lovers of sunbathing and active recreation - keeps pace with it. Wide, sandy beaches, including Jelitkowo, Brzeźno, Stogi and Sobieszewo, offer not only ideal conditions for rest by the sea, but also numerous attractions in the immediate vicinity. 

The long-awaited vacation for many of us has just begun! If you are wondering whether it is worth going to the Polish seaside, I will answer straight away - of course it is! However, I advise you to choose well so that the destination suits your needs. And well, in my opinion, it can mean, among others: the direction of Sobieszewska Island.

Warm spring and the fast approaching summer are conducive to making holiday decisions - both the more thoughtful and long-awaited ones, as well as the spontaneous ones, in which only a few moments pass from impulse and inspiration to the decision. In spring and summer, the Baltic Sea delights not only with its beautiful nature, but also with favorable sailing conditions.

The recent warm, and sometimes hot, days have naturally encouraged many of us to plan the upcoming May weekend. Looking out the window and at the thermometers, we are optimistic about these few (even five!) free days outdoors. Although of course the idea of a barbecue with friends and family gives positive vibes, it is worth focusing on new experiences and doing something special from time to time ;)

Spring is the time when nature comes to life, recalling forgotten bird melodies in the morning. This is the period when the first, delicate buds bloom on the trees, and after a while they burst into green, and the meadows are covered with colorful flowers, creating unique carpets of nature.

Spring aura has something unique about it - it awakens our senses to life, evoking joy and promising a new beginning. In this atmosphere, Easter takes on special significance, becoming not only a time of religious reflection, but also an opportunity to spend time with loved ones in the beautiful surroundings of the Baltic Sea.

This special moment of the year, which is one of the favorite reasons to celebrate and celebrate femininity, is fast approaching. Women's Day, because we are talking about it, is a time when many of us want to find a moment for ourselves, open up to new experiences, immerse ourselves in our interior, but also spend joyful time in the company of other ladies.

Discovering Gdańsk in winter is a journey into a completely different dimension than the commonly known one. Although low temperatures and sometimes snowy weather limit some typical seaside activities such as sunbathing, they also open the door to new experiences. And we will focus on them today :)

The year 2024 has already started in earnest - for many of us, January can be really dynamic and demanding, especially in the professional context. So it's good to stop for a moment and take a deep breath. The beaches, where you can only hear the singing of the waves and the sound of the wind, seem to be the last corner free from the city rush.

Dreams of winter adventures always come to life with the first snowflakes. There is nothing stopping us from giving our children a chance to fulfill their dreams and allowing them to have a little family break from everyday life during the winter holidays. And these have just started in some voivodeships.

Ho, ho, ho – the countdown to Christmas is in full swing! Therefore, it is worth taking a look at where Christmas, together with the pre- and post-Christmas period, can revive and preserve the most beautiful memories. Personally, I think that Gdańsk is the perfect place to spend this unique winter time :) And why? Let me explain!

A week of frosty and snowy winter is behind us! I think that many snow lovers rubbed their eyes with surprise and joy when the world was covered with white powder in November. So I thought about preparing additional inspiration for those who enjoy the sight of snow boots, and who enjoy woolen sweaters and hats, which bring back warm childhood memories, displacing thoughts of scraping windows in the morning ;)

November has settled outside our windows for good. The last leaves are still hanging in the wind, but there is no doubt that the ongoing battle is unequal. A similar game between staying in a warm bed and leaving it on colder mornings takes place in many of our homes. Not so long ago, I observed the results of a survey on one of the Instagram accounts I follow, and the answers to the question about the least favorite month in Poland were merciless - the vast majority of us would like to wait for November or skip it altogether, jumping straight into the period of December decorations, gifts or world ;)

This year's autumn spoils us. September and October are warm and allow you to enjoy the benefits of outdoor activities. It's true that we may long for longer days, but the shorter ones also bring many sunny moments that are worth taking advantage of. Therefore, I invite you, the inhabitants of the Tricity, for a short break on... Sobieszewo Island, located 15 km from the Old Town of Gdańsk, to GRANO HOTEL SOLMARINA.

A little over two weeks ago, the calendar autumn began. Fortunately, we are dealing with its best incarnation - colorful, full of sun rays, warming the natural world as it prepares to rest. This is a perfect time to take a better look at it, especially since there are much fewer people willing to observe it than in the summer season.

We're halfway through the holidays! Needless to say, I had to pinch myself as I wrote these words. And yet - a month of rest and beautiful memories behind us. So let's be happy that the next August days are still on the horizon ;)

Although a bit of a throw on the tape, but we made it! Easter soon. Looking at the increasing number of Easter offers in hotels and how many of us actually decide to spend this time taking advantage of tourist offers, I think we can confidently admit that Holy Week, but above all the period between Holy Saturday and Monday Easter, it becomes a great opportunity to catch your breath.

When browsing internet forums and social networking sites, I often notice questions from parents, grandparents and guardians of children regarding the choice of a place to rest - both shorter, weekend, as well as planned summer and winter holidays. Usually there is a question that other users help to solve: "Where to go on holiday with the child?".

The day is fast approaching, which I know from experience to be one of the favorite reasons for women - both older and younger - to celebrate. And although some of us associate it with the period of the People's Republic of Poland in which it is rooted, it does not prevent it from disenchanting it from the then ubiquitous carnations and tights ;)

Although looking out the window at the world bathed in spring and autumn aura, it's hard to believe - we are entering the winter holidays with great strides. In just a few days, children from some provinces will start the long-awaited break between semesters. And it was with you - parents, grandparents, carers of the youngest and slightly older - in mind that I have prepared today's article.

A few years ago, a visit to a spa did not occupy my mind at all. I thought it was a luxury reserved for others. However, I couldn't really answer the question for which ones. My friend, who went with her colleagues from work to the SPA hotel for the weekend, came to the rescue.

In the previous article, I told you about the most interesting and noteworthy natural values of the Sobieszewo Island. Today I will focus on what to do to experience the seaside, unique climate of the island even more.

In today's article, I will tell you a little more about a place that not many tourists visiting the Tri-City know about. And certainly a large part of them is surprised that within the borders of Gdańsk lies quite a large... island.

Family trips and holidays, whether shorter or longer, are often planned down to the smallest detail. Parents want to know exactly what they will do, or at least what they can do. They carefully check the offer in terms of facilities for children, ask about what the hotel, guesthouse, agritourism or the nearest neighborhood offer for the youngest.

Spring has been in the air for a few weeks now. The last weekends spoiled us with the sun, cloudless sky and calm sea. Nature began to wake up to life, beginning the favorite period of the year for many. In the near future, somewhere on the horizon, apart from the blooming of snowdrops and crocuses, there is another traditionally most important time for Christians - Easter.

February 14 is fast approaching. And although my observations show that there are at least two approaches to celebrating this day, I would like to propose a few ideas to make the Valentine's Day unique this year. If you belong to a group of people for whom Valentine's Day is a long-awaited and special day, full of magic and surprises, I hope that you will find inspiration in the text to spend it in a pleasant way.

If I conducted a short survey and asked you what winter holidays mean to you, most of you would probably choose answers such as: skiing, snowboarding, sledding, mountains, snow, hot tea and snowball fights. Some would probably add rest, time with family and adventure. Of course, this would not exhaust all possibilities.

Fall is spoiling us this year. It would seem that September is behind us. Meanwhile, last weekend we turned the clocks back an hour. Neighborhood children, dressed up as witches and ghosts, ran around shouting "Trick or Treat" happily, and we showered them with sweets to think about our loved ones a little later.

For the last few days I feel more and more strongly that autumn is approaching us in big steps. Increased car traffic on the streets, groups of students on school playgrounds, and finally mushroom pickers encountered during a forest walk, proudly presenting the trophies in their baskets - eye-catching boletes, boletes and butter mushrooms.

– Why do you like the sea? - I heard. A stream of thoughts, memories, images flashed through my head.

– "For everything," I smiled warmly, glancing at the horizon.

The answer, though seemingly trivial, is exactly what I feel.

Do you remember what trip I invited you on last week? If not quite, and you are hungry for excitement, I encourage you to follow the description of the cruise on our blog. At that time, we sailed on a galley, a replica of Polish river boats popular in the 18th century, used for one-time transport of goods, i.e. salt, grain, soap and lime.

The holiday season at the Polish seaside is in full swing! We started the summer with a bang also in the Tri-City, as temperatures only occasionally drop below 20 degrees Celsius, which pleases all those thirsty for hot sand, sunbathing and swimming in the waves. However, Gdańsk lives not only by the sea and has many other interesting aces up its sleeve.

Many of us will travel with loved ones: spouses, partners, children, parents, friends or solo. But, but - did I mention here all those who enjoy the thought of rest, carefree, beautiful views and being by our side? Definitely not!

Hotels open or hotels closed? In recent weeks, I have received at least a dozen such questions from friends, acquaintances and family members. I also participated in several discussions in which we tried to determine what the current regulations allow us to do and what we cannot do. I thought that since the topic is alive among my relatives, it may also be of interest to our guests...

Museums in the Pomeranian Voivodeship closed again? Unfortunately, this is a pandemic truth. They are unavailable to visitors until at least March 28, 2021. But does that make them not worth writing about? From my point of view absolutely not!

Museums occupy a special place on the tourist map. It is in them that we recall history anew, we learn facts that we have not heard before. Thanks to them, we can move in time to both very distant and very close periods. Museum exhibitions provide an opportunity to better understand the past.

Children like winter. For many adults, this statement may seem surprising, because they often associate it mainly with clearing snow from cars or home sidewalks, but for the youngest, the vision of making a snowman, making an eagle or an angel in the snow, rolling downhill in white powder, and above all, a battle for snowballs with parents and friends are still highly anticipated events.

2020 will go down in history for many reasons. The catchy slogans "2020 is not forgettable" or "2020 still in shape" did not leave the news headlines, they were the reason to write articles, entries, as well as an excellent opportunity to create countless memes. The "Year 2020" itself was changed by all cases, and its ending still provides a lot of impressions.

I love business trips! Although I did not go there often, I always looked forward to the next trip with great joy. All for a simple reason - after work, even very late, you are still in a new place, perhaps for the first time or after a long break, and this creates opportunities for walks, getting to know cities in their natural, not only weekend, rhythm. Do you like business trips or do you treat them only as a task of significant importance to you or your company?

November comes suddenly. Over time, we get used to shorter days and crisper mornings. Behind the windows, leaves are blown in the wind more and more often, fog hovers over the meadows, and the vision of a warm blanket and an interesting book creeps into our thoughts. This moment you can wait and rest. You can also roll up long sleeves and take care of your health, immunity, good condition...

Yellow and red leaves sway on the trees, chestnuts and acorns fall straight into the narrow streets, and the iodine-rich sea breeze brings a feeling of refreshment on a lazy afternoon. These small signals remind us that the golden Polish autumn has already reached the seaside and slowly wants to make itself at home in our heads and hearts. Let's give her a chance!

After a day full of attractions, the youngest dreamed their childhood dreams. Still in their imagination, they built sand, splashed with sea water, jumped on the stones in the Oliwa Park and imitated the sounds of animals from the Gdańsk Zoo. In the morning, rested, with a smile on their faces, they woke up and quietly climbed into the bed of their sleepy parents. The beginning of the day belonged to the family.
